At the end of the first day, local man Michael Egan is in pole position for 1st Prize with a fish of 20lbs 15oz. Last year's winner, Joe McDermott is currently in 2nd place with a fish of 19lbs 9oz. There is currently a tie for 3rd place between Noel Maguire and Ger Fogarty with both men landing catches of 17lbs 12oz each.
Brendan Sharkey leads the way for the Members Prize with a fish weighing in at 15lbs 12oz.
April Flanagan is currently top of the Leader Board for the Ladies with an excellent fish of 16lbs 8oz.
Danielle Hughes is the current leader of the Junior Competition with a fish of 12lbs 7oz
I have added a selection of photos from today and I think everyone should have a look at Gary Beirne trying to steal Brian Rush's fish.
